A new and highly entertaining component, Lumberjack Sports, is certain to pump up the excitement of the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Logging & Biomass Expo, set for Friday-Saturday, May 3-4 near Laurinburg, NC.
After going through some practice demonstrations on Friday, experienced competitors recruited by the South Atlantic Woodsmen’s Assn. (SAWA) on Saturday will compete in six different events featuring some of the same competitors that have been seen on ESPN, ABC Sports and the Outdoor Life Network. Competitors will chop and saw their way through heats, semi-finals and finals that involve ax chopping, cross-cut sawing and sawing with super modified chain saws. These gifted athletes always amaze crowds with their strength, endurance and skill.
The Lumberjack Sports component is being sponsored by Canal Wood, LLC, the largest wood procurement company in the Southeast.
Thousands of attendees from throughout the Mid-Atlantic area and beyond will converge at the Expo to view live demonstrations of high-tech logging equipment, trucks and trailers, attachments, products, supplies and services.
